ACADEMICS AND ALPHA PHI

From walking to campus on the first day of classes Freshman year to walking across the stage at graduation, Alpha Phi supports each member in any and all school-related activities. Scholarship is very important to each and every member of the Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi. New Members are encouraged to keep up their studies through weekly study hours at libraries on campus and by forming study groups with other chapter members in their classes. Freshmen through Seniors are bonded by the pursuit of learning and helping each other reach their academic goals. As a Top 5 UW chapter in grades for the several quarters, we are focused on maintaining a high standard of educational excellence.

Each quarter, every member who earns a Dean's List GPA of 3.5 or above is recognized.

STUDY ABROAD

Each quarter, members of the Sigma Chapter take the opportunity to experience new cultures and learn through experience by studying abroad. By connecting their course to their majors, each Alpha Phi keeps up with her schoolwork and stays on track to graduate while making memories of a lifetime with their sisters and new friends.

The members at home in Seattle always arrange care packages to send all around the world to remind our sisters how much we miss them when they are abroad.

INTERNSHIPS AND POST GRADUATION OPPORTUNITIES

Through success in school, Alpha Phi members have been able to work for amazing companies learning how to be active leaders in any profession. We host Sigma Chapter Alumna panels to show members all of the amazing opportunities there are for Alpha Phi sisters.

Our members have taken full advantage of living in the bustling city of Seattle, earning internships and jobs at companies including Nordstrom Corporate, Adobe, Amazon, Swedish Hospital, Ernst and Young, Deloitte and Expedia.
